I know I haven't posted anything in a while but thats because I have been so busy with internship. This weekend we got tickets to the University of Florida Vs. Appalachian game. So of course being from North Carolina I had to pull for my home state team Appalachian even though we lost I still had a great time. It was such a beautiful day so I shot this panoramic before the game, the stands weren't completely full yet but it was packed by the time the game started. This was the view we had from our seats on the goal line row 9.

Photoshop Fun!!
Here are some things I've done in my digital imaging class this past eight weeks. First we had a pen tool test and had to pen tool out the guy, the hat, and the pear then place it on the back ground and heres what I came up with.
For our final assignment we had to make a composite. We drew words out of a hat to figure out what all we had to composite together and my object were pea coat, decorative wallpaper, and flower, my person was a hipster, my theme was audacious. Here is what I came up with the people, the floor, and the wall paper are all different shots. Special thanks to Kourtney and Rider for modeling for me!

Jewelry!
This was my last self promo shot for fall semester. I wanted to do a jewelry advertisement, once again I had no idea what exactly I wanted to do or how to set it up for a while. But then I thought do something different and put the jewelry on backwards. I got the jewelry from a great antique shop in downtown Asheboro. Special thanks to Jessica for modeling for me!
Chocolate Delight!
So for our last self promo I wanted to shoot chocolate but had no idea how exactly I was going to set it up. So I had the idea of floating chocolate with a drip coming off of one. We also had to use a digital back for a shot. I used a Sinar F-1 camera with a phase one digital back. I used the large format camera so I could Scheimplug it and lay the focus on the center chocolate. This set up took a very long time and to actually get the drip right while the truffle was melting from being dipped in hot chocolate it was very interesting. Thanks to Cali for dipping the chocolate. Yes this chocolate tasted amazing check out Loco for Coco if your in the Greensboro, NC area!

Eggs!
For our client assignment we were told to photograph a dozen eggs and that was all the direction we got. We were allowed to interpret and illustrate the eggs any way we liked. Since I enjoy arts and crafts from time to time I thought I would decorate the eggs in a neat way not many people have seen. It was time consuming but fun, by the end there was glitter everywhere.
Panoramic
In our digital imaging class we were told to photograph a 180 degree panoramic. I had remembered a spot I had previously shot for my large format class. I went back to that location to do my panoramic. This is my first panoramic so be nice. I'm looking forward to doing more.

Vintage
I had the idea of doing an extravagant Kentucky Derby style hat shoot but being in NC you can't really find hats in that style. I found a great hat at a costume store called At The Ritz Costumes in Greensboro. I also found a great dress at Designer Archives in Greensboro. A huge thanks to both of those place for letting me rent the hat and dress. After I got the outfit it turned into a more vintage feel rather than at the derby which I liked just as much. Special thanks to Kourtney Pierce who modeled for me out in the blazing hot sun she was great.
